Eighth Grade

Eighth graders will now meet the world in which they live at a higher level. Speech, debate, reading and writing aid in their intellectual development. Math students will take Algebra II as Integrated Science students apply mathematical skills to more advanced work in biology, chemistry and physics. World Civilizations Program students will complete their survey of world history by studying Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America from 1850 to the present, and then by studying America in detail in the second and third quarters of the year. Language students will progress to level two and everyone will continue with art and P.E.
