Seventh Grade
Seventh grade students begin to improve their abilities in various subjects by the practice of critical thinking. They take Algebra I along with the second year of the Integrated Science and World Civilizations Programs. They will study Newton alongside the Enlightenment as they cover World Civilizations between 1300 and 1850 in the first two quarters. In the third quarter, they will study America from Colonial exploration until the war of 1815. Students will practice speech and debate -- scientific, literary and historical -- as they learn proficiency in grammar and vocabulary. Foreign language students will progress to level one and students will continue to enjoy art and P.E.
