Student Services

Students and parents will appreciate the following services and privileges for students. We hope this school will be fun as well as educational, and we hope to better every students emotional, social and leadership skills.

Special Events and Field Trips

The School of Choice curriculum includes stimulating educational field trips to see theatre, music, art and science events and also encouragement and support for community service projects which develop students' awareness of world affairs and their leadership abilities. Together we have seen Shakespeare plays, Alcatraz Island, the Tech Museum and Great America. Sometimes we just go bowling or playing miniature golf for fun. A Roman warrior visited us to show off Roman weaponry. We welcome further creativity and energy planning and doing more wonderful events in the future.

Homework Center

Too many Silicon Valley parents must work afternoons, when they would rather enjoy their children's presence. To ensure that our future leaders stay away from the overwhelming influence of television and video games, we provide low cost homework assistance to students who need daily homework monitoring and enrichment and help them meet or exceed school standards.

Five days a week, this center lets parents enjoy their children after dinner without the homework hassle. Our teachers monitor students' grades at school and their performance after school. They also issue reports to keep underachievers from destroying their future. Make sure your children have a safe, productive and fulfilling afternoon.

Counseling

The School of Choice gives students academic counseling when needed to help.

Food Services

Students generally bring their own lunches to The School of Choice. We have refrigerators and microwaves for their convenience.
